As the celebrities prepare for the annual Black Girl Rocks event, many looks grace the red carpet and one that caught our eye was Tracee Ellis Ross. One word, stunning. She truly wore that dress well, the all white and fitted dress is something not every woman could pull off. There were many women that looked great, but Tracee did it BEST.
The Rocker, The Lady, and the Boho look with the same exact skirt. A Classic piece dressed with three different looks, we love it. This Zara Classic is appropriate for just about any season. This Long Skirt is our item of the week its chic, classic and fun!
“Its a good point for me That Can Have the Same garment differents lifes, because I always try and Avoid making the Same combinations, This is the MOST important point to multiply your wardrobe’s Possibilities.” – MyShowRoomBlog
Chiara, from The Blonde Salad Blog, pulled off neon like I’ve never seen before. It was tasteful, it was chic, and it was so classic. While attending the fashion shows in Paris, Chiara took a few photos in her MSGM Neon Dress from the Cruise Collection. She’s brave, simply because its fall and I always try to steer for more neutral like colors, but she pieced this dress with such classic accessories that you almost forgot about the color!
Chiara was headed to the Dior and Vivienne Westwood gold label fashion-shows.
When preparing for an interview there’s always that moment of “What Should I wear?” if its an office job, its STRICTLY Business Casual, but what if the interview is for more of a style forward interview? Where you HAVE to “dress the part” to get the job. So its more about your style, your presence, and how much of in the KNOW you are. So I thought what better than a little black dress, vintage floral scarf, skinny brown belt, and flats(this I was kind of unsure of) I kept going back and forth in my head, heels or flats…heels or flats. And then of course I choose flats. Which wasn’t such a bad choice.
Dolce & Gabbana ENTIRE SS 2012 collection truly is amazing, however, there were a few pieces that stood out from the crowd. This vintage floral & fruit pattern truly inspired me deeply. This particular pattern and material is so nostalgic for me, it truly took me back to my Grandmother’s kitchen with the amazing flower + fruit wallpaper and each style has a 50′s & 60′s fill to it, this pattern is colorful, rich and full of character. Are you guys excited about this style and pattern? Are you looking forward to our favorite stars rocking this collection next Spring?
Share your comments below, I’d love to hear what you think of this particular style.
A collection I can ONLY fantasize about until I can afford it! LOL
Inspired by the book, Changing the way the world thinks about BEAUTY, this discussion is an Exploration in BEAUTY.
Beauty is many things to many people, cultures, and ethnicities.
Join us at the MSU-Detroit Center as panel speakers define beauty from their multi backgrounds, discuss & dispel stereotypes about beauty, elaborate on the effects of media on beauty, and engage in conversation about various expressions of beauty.
Our objective at the end of this discussion is to acknowledge that even if different, BEAUTY is in ALL, if we EXPLORE deep enough.

So next week I am scheduled to slightly change my look with adding BANGS! Bangs are a girls favorite accessory, well at least for me it is! So bangs are always a BIG discussion for my stylist and I, simply because there are different ways to wear them. You have the option of face-frame bangs, blunt bangs, side swept bangs, layered bangs and many more. These styles above are simple and not so dramatic, in which I love.
Which look are you loving the best? I’m totally in love with Camilla Belle’s bangs!
One Fashion Week over, and the NEXT begins from New York Fashion Week to London Fashion Week with more amazing styles as the models strut the runway, I can go through these amazing designs ALL DAY. Here is the Spring/Summer collection from the one and only Matthew Williamson. Beautiful vibrant colors with amazing patterns that will have girl wanting to skip Winter and go straight to Spring/Summer 2012 would you agree? I’d think so. London Fashion Week is ALWAYS my favorite, I’m always intrigued to know what designers in other countries are showcasing. This collection truly is one of my TOP favorites thus far. What are some of your favorite collections from the LFW runway shows?
The stunning actress Jamie-Lyn wore an amazing animal print, low cut gown, with a nude platform which complemented her gown very well. While many celebrities were front row of the Tracy Reese Spring 2012 fashion show, Jamie-Lyn look surely inspired me a great deal. Inspired much readers? Are we loving this look?
Or what are some of the looks that inspired you this year from New York Fashion Week?
